DFW airport

Had a great flight that went quite quickly. Didn't seem like 15 hours at all. Now waiting for our flight to Cancun. We didn't have to check our bags and even going through US security was quite quick. Our first time in a full body scanner.

Last minute things to pack

David is still finding things he wants to bring along the night before we head out. The latest is a beach ball. We are only travelling with carry on luggage this time and hoping they don't weigh it. At 9kg we are under the domestic weight, but over the 7kg for international.

Here we go again

Well we are off on another trip this time Cuba, Mexico, Guatemala and Belize, hence the blog address of CMGB201213.

As part of this trip we will be visiting the last of the New 7 wonders of the world, Chichen Itza, in Mexico. But first it is off to Cuba, leaving home on the 30th November 2012 to meet John and Lorna - who we met on our first adventure (See our Indo China blog)- in Cancun before heading over to Havana. We do not expect to have internet access in Cuba so don't expect an update on the blog till we arrive in Mexico on the 21st December.
